He emphasized the deadly dangers of swimming in these areas, pointing out that most of these incidents occurred in dams and rivers.
The Director General of Crisis Management of the province, explaining the status of drowning incidents, stated: “Since the beginning of the current year, 34 drowning incidents have been recorded across the province, unfortunately resulting in the deaths of 23 people.”
Hamed Saffari, focusing on high-risk areas, clarified: “A significant portion of these incidents occurred behind dams and along riverbanks.”
Saffari warned against swimming behind dams, stating: “These areas are extremely dangerous due to unknown depths, the presence of hidden currents, and a lack of sufficient safety equipment.”
He added: “Swimming behind dams is merely a deadly risk and should not be used as a recreational spot.”
۲۳ نفر قربانی غرقشدگی در آذربایجانغربی شدند
مهاباد/بالویز/ حوادث/مدیرکل مدیریت بحران آذربایجانغربی با انتشار آماری از حوادث مربوط به غرقشدگی، از جان باختن ۲۳ نفر از ۳۴ مصدوم در جریان حوادث غرقشدگی از ابتدای سال جاری تاکنون خبر داد.
وی با اشاره به اینکه بیشترین این حوادث در سدها و رودخانهها رخ داده، بر خطرات مرگبار شنا در این مناطق تأکید کرد.
مدیرکل مدیریت بحران استان، در تشریح وضعیت حوادث غرقشدگی گفت: از ابتدای سال جاری تاکنون، ۳۴ مورد حادثه غرقشدگی در سطح استان ثبت شده که متأسفانه منجر به مرگ ۲۳ نفر شده است.
حامد صفاری، با تمرکز بر مناطق پرخطر، تصریح کرد: بخش عمدهای از این حوادث در پشت سدها و حاشیه رودخانهها به وقوع پیوسته است.
صفاری با هشدار نسبت به شنا در پشت سدها گفت: این مناطق به دلیل برخورداری از عمق نامشخص، وجود جریانهای پنهان و نبود تجهیزات ایمنی کافی، به شدت خطرناک هستند.
شنا در پشت سدها صرفاً یک ریسک مرگبار است و نباید به عنوان محل تفریح مورد استفاده قرار گیرد.
