Kani Barazan wetland, which means ( boar spring ) in Kurdish, is located in the north of ” Qara Dagh ” village and has been introduced as the first bird watching camp in Iran by the National Nature Tourism Committee due to the abundance of biodiversity

This beautiful wetland as a bird watching camp in the country due to its high capabilities and diverse vegetation and the annual migration of 200,000 species of birds to this habitat, has provided for nature lovers, especially bird watchers

Currently, it breeds the most diverse species of animals, including rare birds, and is one of the most important wetlands in West Azerbaijan for overwintering and laying for birds in different seasons

According to the latest studies, 75 species of waterfowl and shorebirds belonging to 11 families have been identified in this wetland
