Iran (Mahabad) Balviz– The death toll from COVID-19 in Iran has exceeded 40,000, while more than 546,000 positive cases have recovered from the disease so far
Speaking at a daily press conference on Friday, Health Ministry Spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari said the coronavirus has taken the lives of 461 patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 40,582
The number of people tested positive for COVID-19 in Iran has risen to 738,322 after the detection of 11,737 new cases since yesterday, she added
Of the new cases detected over the past 24 hours, 2,967 patients have been admitted to the hospital, the spokeswoman said
At least 546,642 patients have recovered from the coronavirus infection so far or have been discharged from hospitals across Iran, she said
Among those undergoing treatment in medical centers at present, 5,630 coronavirus patients have critical health conditions because of more severe infection, Lari noted
The spokeswoman also said more than 5,424,000 coronavirus diagnostic tests have been carried out in Iran so far
The number of people infected with COVID-19 across the world has exceeded 52.7 million and the death toll has surpassed 1,290,000

ایران (مهاباد) بالویز – تعداد فوتی های COVID-19 در ایران بیش از ۴۰،۰۰۰ نفر بوده است ، در حالی که تاکنون بیش از ۵۴۶،۰۰۰ مورد مثبت از این بیماری بهبود یافته اند
سخنگوی وزارت بهداشت ، سیما سادات لاری ، روز جمعه در یک کنفرانس مطبوعاتی روزانه گفت که ویروس کرونا باعث فوت ۴۶۱ بیمار در طی ۲۴ ساعت گذشته شده است و در نتیجه تعداد کل فوتی ها به ۴۰۵۸۲ رسیده است.
وی افزود: پس از شناسایی ۱۱،۷۳۷ مورد جدید از مبتلایان روز گذشته ، تعداد افرادی که از نظر COVID-19 در ایران مثبت شده اند به ۷۳۸،۳۲۲ نفر رسیده است.
سخنگو گفت:از موارد جدیدی که طی ۲۴ ساعت گذشته کشف شده است ، ۲،۹۶۷ بیمار در بیمارستان بستری شده اند.
وی گفت: حداقل ۵۴۶۶۴۲ بیمار تاکنون از عفونت ویروس کرونا بهبود یافته اند یا از بیمارستانهای سراسر ایران مرخص شده اند.
لاری خاطرنشان کرد: در میان افرادی که در حال حاضر در مراکز درمانی تحت درمان هستند ، ۵۶۳۰ بیمار ویروسی کرونا به دلیل عفونت شدیدتر ، از نظر سلامتی شرایط بحرانی دارند.
سخنگو همچنین گفت: بیش از ۵،۴۲۴،۰۰۰ آزمایش تشخیصی ویروس کرونا در ایران تاکنون انجام شده است.
تعداد افراد آلوده به COVID-19 در سراسر جهان از ۵۲٫۷ میلیون نفر و تعداد فوتی ها از ۱ میلیون و ۲۹۰ هزار نفر فراتر رفته است.
