Mahabad / Balviz / Kaboudan leopard image was taken by the camera traps of Urmia Lake National Park
“Omid Yousefi” stated: with the presence of experts from the Wildlife Office of the Environmental Protection Agency, several camera traps were installed on Kaboudan Island this year.The main purpose of installing the cameras was to record the behavior of the leopard on Kaboudan Island and to identify it’s diet and places of movement, as well as it’s health
He stated: In this program, first, the movement routes were identified by field surveys then camera traps were installed in the probable movement routes

تصویر تنها پلنگ در حال زیست جزیره کبودان ارومیه
به گزارش سرویس محیط زیست،پایگاه خبری بالویز،رییس اداره حیات وحش اداره کل حفاظت محیط زیست آذربایجان غربی گفت:تصویر تنها پلنگ در حال زیست در جزیره کبودان ارومیه در تله دوربین های تازه نصب شده در این جزیره ثبت شد.
“امید یوسفی” اظهار داشت:با حضور کارشناسان دفتر حیات وحش سازمان حفاظت محیط زیست امسال چند دستگاه دوربین تله ای در جزیره کبودان نصب شد که هدف اصلی از نصب دوربین ها، ثبت رفتار پلنگ موجود در جزیره کبودان و شناسایی رژیم غذایی و محل های تردد آن و همچنین میزان سلامت آن بوده است.
وی بیان کرد:در این برنامه ابتدا با بررسی های میدانی ، مسیرهای تردد گونه شناسایی و در مسیر های احتمالی تردد آن دوربین تله ای نصب شده است.
