    “Seyed Mohammad Amin Sheikh Mandi”, one of the veteran boatmen of Mahabad, rowed the 15 km distance of the city dam on the occasion of Environment Week with the slogan “Mahabad dam is not a trash can”
    Along the way, the boatmen collected garbage floating on the water, sending a message to citizens to be responsible for protecting the environment
    Mahabad Dam, as the only source of drinking water in the city, needs more care and maintenance to prevent the entry of waste into it
    Garbage left in nature upstream of the dam enters the Mahabad Dam Lake due to wind with the first rain with rain water and it is very difficult and sometimes impossible to collect it in the water

    قایقران و فعال زیست محیطی حاشیه سد مهاباد را پاکسازی کرد

    مهاباد/بالویز/ به مناسبت هفته محیط زیست،قایقران و فعال زیست محیطی مسیر حاشیه سد مهاباد را از زباله پاکسازی کرد.

    به گزارش سرویس محیط زیست،پایگاه خبری بالویز”سید محمد امین شیخ مندی” قایقران ملی پوش مهابادی ۱۵ کیلومتر از مسیر آبی دریاچه سد مهاباد را پاکسازی کرد.
    “سید محمد امین شیخ مندی” یکی از قایقرانان پیشکسوت مهابادی به مناسبت گرامیداشت هفته محیط زیست، مسافت ۱۵ کیلومتری سد شهر را با شعار “سد مهاباد سطل زباله نیست” پارو زد.

    این قایقران در طول این مسیر با جمع آوری زباله‌های معلق روی آب این پیام را به شهروندان داد که نسبت به حفظ محیط زیست مسئولیت پذیر باشند.

     سد مهاباد بعنوان تنها منبع تامین کننده آب شرب این شهر نیاز به مراقبت و نگهداری بیشتری دارد تا از ورود پسماند‌ها به آن جلوگیری شود.

     زباله‌هایی که در بالادست سد در طبیعت رها می‌شوند بر اثر وزش باد با در اولین بارش همراه آب باران وارد دریاچه سد مهاباد شده و جمع آوری آن در داخل آب بسیار مشکل و گاهی غیر ممکن است.

     این عضو تیم منتخب پیشکسوتان قایقرانی دراگون ایران، علاوه بر سد مهاباد هر سال در پاکسازی غار آبی سهولان،تالاب‌ها و زیستگاه‌های این شهرستان نیز مشارکت داشته و با استفاده از قایق پسماند‌ها را از محیط‌های آبی جمع آوری می‌کند.

    پنجم ژوئن روز جهانی محیط زیست با شعار زمان برای طبیعت در سال ۲۰۲۱ ، روزی است که از سوی سازمان ملل برای افزایش آگاهی مردم نسبت به محیط زیست انتخاب شده است.

    در تقویم ملی ایران نیز از ۱۶ تا ۲۲ خرداد، به عنوان هفته محیط زیست نامگذاری شده که شعار ملی این هفته نیز امسال «جهش تولید، حفظ محیط زیست برای توسعه پایدار ایران» نامگذاری شده است.
